Donate Your Gently Used Sports Equipment to a Great Cause!
Venison Provisions is starting up our very own hunting/fishing/outdoorsy THRIFT STORE!!!
100% of the sale of all items donated and resold will go directly to the processing of Deer Meat for hungry bellies out there!! All donors will be given a tax deductible receipt for the value of the items they donate. We are looking for anything from closet cleanouts to store closeouts… but it has to be outdoor sports related items.
We are thinking stuff from turkey calls to skeet throwers, camo t shirts to waders, golf clubs to fishing poles, boats to four wheelers, hunting packages to T-Times, coolers to tents and sleeping bags, bird dogs to quail, cameras to backpacks, fishing trips to mud tires, thermacells to rifles, skis to decoys, scentlock to shotguns, and anything in between!
We are shooting for a frequently scheduled sidewalk sale style event here at the beginning of hunting season, and/or a silent or online auction for the big ticket items. With much success, longer term ideas may include an actual small store, all the while holding tightly to the outdoor sports theme.Hunting, fishing, golf, hiking, camping, atv-ing, skiing, and such.
So, to boil it all down, here’s how you can help… number one, talk about this sportsman’s toy store and recruit us some shoppers. Two: clean out your closets, trucks, sheds and tool boxes, gather us some bounty to sell. Hit up your local sporting goods store too- they may have some boxes in the back that could be a tax deduction for them too! And lastly, come shop when we open it up!! All those little helps you can offer are going to add up and make a huge difference in getting Sportsman Provisions off the ground!
